Ralf Tech Day in Cala Galera

May 29, 2006 – First Ralf Tech Day in Cala Galera.

The picturesque Tuscan archipelago of Monte Argentario is a particularly popular destination for sailors and divers, and perhaps for this reason it was chosen as the base by Franco Pivoli for the first Ralf Tech day.

The Mahaba Diving and Shop is located within the Cala Galera harbor: not just diving, the shop also offers a wide range of scuba diving products. For the occasion, one of the windows was completely decorated and designed by Ralf Tech and Atomic: a display of many products from the catalog, ready to be taken aboard the boat for testing, where a dozen divers were able to experience the quality of Ralf Tech and Atomic products firsthand.

The real gem distributed in Italy by Franco Pivoli it's the titanium dispenser Atomic T2, a top-of-the-line product that satisfies the most demanding requirements in terms of performance (e.g. automatic flow control) and lightness.
Lightness is also one of the strong points of the new products, in particular the new line of frameless masks with the glass glued directly to the silicone, a solution that allows for a lighter and more comfortable structure.

All the other products were also tested, from BCDs to wetsuits, from undersuits to fins. The Ralf Tech bags, a range of dry and semi-dry travel bags for every need, needed no introduction.

The day concluded, as is diving tradition, with a shared lunch, a perfect opportunity to try out Atomic knives, a life-saving accessory that can be useful if you get tangled in fishing lines or nets, but also ideal for cutting cheese and cured meats after a dive.

Franco Pivoli wanted to organize a meeting with divers to allow them to experience firsthand the value of Ralf Tech and Atomic products. The success of this initiative, greatly appreciated by participants, suggests it will not remain an isolated event. While waiting for future initiatives, Ralf Tech and Atomic products can be found in the best dive shops.
