Previously, the underwater researcher's books had focused more on different aspects, this time the journey is internal and the places are the means to reach the essential.
The bibliography of an underwater explorer
The previous published titles were DEEP BLUE: stories of wrecks and sunken places (2019), followed by the collection of adventures written around the world, SELVAGE DIVING (2022). The following year, the monograph ANDREA DORIA: UN LEMPO DI PATRIA (2023) was published , a broad historical and documentary retrospective on the most beautiful ship that Italy has ever launched.
Structure and depth: a unique work in the publishing landscape
Nomad of the Deep It is divided into three different sections: travels and dives in the underground, the American interviews with the oaks of world technical diving and finally the inner explorations experienced through the wrecks.
Nine stories that will enchant and transport anyone who tries their hand at reading them. Not a scuba diving book, then, nor just about the underwater world. A broad and introspective book where adventure and emotion intertwine page after page, taking the reader deeper and deeper into the abyssal depths of their own inner selves.
The journey within oneself
In the first part, the author travels in search of himself, leading the reader to caves in the Carpathians, to lakes in the Alps, or diving into a remote flooded mine in South Africa.
Knowing how to populate one's hermitage is an act that every solitary traveler must be able to accomplish.

Central to the book are three interviews with pioneers of underwater exploration overseas. Through the words of Bret Gilliam , Michael Menduno, and Hal Watts, these pages bring to life the allure of a pioneering world now long gone. What lessons have they left for young divers of the future?
The volume concludes with three stories with a salty flavour.
Here it will be the wrecks and the meaning of the journey that will bring the reader home, after having crossed Europe from the North of Norway to the deep South of Greek Calabria.
