A new underwater sculpture museum is opening in Cannes, a town on the French Riviera, home to the famous film festival. To visit, you'll need a mask and fins.
The museum features six statues and six faces, the work of British artist Caires Taylor . The depth, between 3 and 5 meters, allows for snorkeling. The museum is located along the southern coast of Sainte Marguerite Island , one of the Lérins Islands. The faces are 2 meters tall and weigh approximately 10 tons each. They are made of eco-friendly materials and will become a refuge for marine life, promoting the recovery of natural ecosystems.
