On 29 June 2019, the new headquarters of the “Museo della Subacquea Storica Vercelli” was inaugurated at the MMCte Costantino Borsini Museum in Villarboit (VC).

The association preserves materials, equipment, images, films, and documents that testify to the efforts and technical evolution of contemporary diving. It is a meeting place for all enthusiasts who care about the culture, history, and traditions of our world, ensuring they are not forgotten but rather recovered, preserved, and shared.
Numerous objects that testify to the evolution of diving techniques are well presented and explained even to non-experts: from spear guns to wetsuits, regulators, computers, and underwater photography.

Special corners are dedicated to some famous people: from Commander Raimondo Bucher to photographers Andrea Ghisotti and Franco Guala, to freediving champion Gianluca Genoni.
Free guided tours can be scheduled, by appointment, at the permanent exhibition spaces in Villarboit, in Piazza IV Novembre 5, by contacting the website www.subacqueastoricavercelli.it.
